Oil separators

We manufacture Class I oil separators with dimensions NS1,5 – 150. NS1,5 till NS10 cases are made of PE plastic with rotation method, and cases of the separators NS10-150 are made of coiled reinforced glass fibre or glass plastic (GRP). The cases of all oil separators manufactured by Eccua have been developed, using theoretical calculations, and several tests have been performed for their certification – vacuum test, ring rigidity test and tests in real conditions. We offer our grease separators in three standard groups of installation depth – 1.3m, 1.8m and 2.5m. In case of deeper installation, we make separate calculations and offer the case of oilseparator, precisely suitable for relevant conditions. When ordering an oilseparator, it is important to submit us such information about installation conditions as installation depth, soil properties, and if any traffic takes place in the area, in order to enable us to offer the case with optimum durability for the system.

We entitled to issue a performance or CE certificate to all their oil separators, confirming conformity of the manufactured systems to the standards EVS-EN858-2 and 2:2002

All oil separators are equipped with a coalisator, which improves essentially the oil separation performance and provides higher efficiency to the whole system and also with automatic closing valve.


Sand separator is an integral part of oil separation system. The standard allows to use it as an integrated system or a separately installed sand separator. The correct volume of sand separator shall be calculated, taking account of potential sand content of wastewater.

In the areas, where temporary heavy rain may occur, a bypass can be installed on the oil separator. A bypass system enables to guide oily rainwater, collected in the beginning of the rain, into the separator, and when heavy shower continues, to guide cleaner rainwater through the bypass, directly into the drain. This prevents overload of the separator and proceeding risk of spillage of the collected oil into the soil. Eccua offers a bypass integrated into the oil separator, as well as a separate bypass system.

We offer alarm systems for all our separators. An alarm system includes oil level sensor Labkotec OMS-1, OilSET-1000 or 2000 and sand level sensor SandSET-1000. Level sensors can be switched into an available automatic system, or a separately constructed automatic system, from where an automatic GSM message is sent in case of alarm, with relevant description of the alarm conditions.

An integral part of every oil separator system is a sampling well installed on the outlet pipe of oil separator. Eccua offers sampling wells made with rotation method. Wells are also equipped with a closing device, which provides a possibility to close the system outlet in case of an emergency, thus avoiding spillage of contamination into public sewer system.

Upon request it is possible to equip outlet pipe of oil separator with automatic closure valve. Operation of automatic closure valve is based on the principle that valve float is floating in the aquatic environment, and when the oil layer forming on the surface of water becomes so thick that it surrounds the float, the float will drown, and the valve will close the outlet automatically. This prevents accidental spillage of oil into the sewer system. The valve re-opens, when oil layer has been removed from the oilseparator.

Oilseparators are used in the places, where it is necessary to remove grease waste from wastewater before they reach public sewer system and/or treatment plant. The places, where an oilseparator should be installed, are following: rainwater collection areas, where oil contamination can form due to vehicles – parking lots, rainwater flowing from the streets; industrial plants, which wastewater may contain oil waste; washing facilities of cars and coaches; filling stations.
