In EC class I oil trap, we use a coalisator filter made of polyurethane (PUR). The pores of the filter are sufficiently small to ensure the passage of the required quantity of water and the rapid coalescence of oil droplets. In the case of the EC filter, it is important to note that if the filter becomes clogged with suspended solids present in the water during operation, it must be replaced with a new one, as washing it will not give sufficient effect. 

Oil traps with an EC filter have passed EN858-1 conformity tests carried out by PIA-Prüfinstitut für Abwassertechnik GmbH in Germany, which is evidenced by the certificate of conformity issued to us.
