EQ BP I KLASS

EQ BP class I oil trap with a bypass system.

In places where there may occasionally be a risk of a flood of precipitation and meltwater exceeding the capacity, the oil trap system must be provided with a bypass. Bypass allows excess flood water to pass by the oil trap chamber of the trap, preventing already collected oil from entering the rainwater system.

Sizing and selection of a sand-sludge separator:
A sand-sludge separator must always be designed before the oil trap to prevent rainwater from entering directly the oil trap.
A sand trap can be in the same housing as the oil trap but it can also be an independent system. The size of the sand trap is determined in the table below.
